This is such a wonderful historic experience to have. Definitely a place to bring your family as well. My husband and I walked all along the street with all the beautiful old houses, we visited this gorgeous farm walking trail & saw the happiest, galloping, playful cows 🐄🐃 they were definitely my favorite part. We also visited this very pretty, ancient cemetery on the top of an old hill,overlooking the high-school playing field. Definitely a must see

If you enjoy historic houses, you will love this place. Some houses have guided tours, and the guides are quite knowledgeable. Others are self-guided with a docent near the entrance. There is a nice gift shop opposite the Visitors Center. I only had a few hours to spend and therefore didn't get to see the entire street. I will go back. If you are into old graveyards, do visit this one. It's at the end of a side street, ask for directions.

You should visit this month as adult tkts only cost $15pp and children are free. Also they have new Summer Evening Strolls on certain nights that only cost $10pp and include a discount at Champney's Tavern
The road is public so you can drive and park different spots to make the walking less
$18 for adults and $5 for kids 17 and under. It was worth it for us because the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and the interactive activities really engaging.
Their gift shop has a lot of books so maybe contact them
