We visited Green Grove Gardens to attend a wedding ceremony of a friend's son. The venue is located near the Pennsylvania Maryland state line, in the middle of nowhere. We had to book a hotel in Hagerstown for the night. Although the expansive grounds complete with a large fountain is impressive, it requires climbing a lot of stairs to get to the upper floor where all the activities take place. The hall is very long, all the guests do not get the best angle to see or hear the main event going on stage. On the particular evening we were there, food service and hosting were almost nonexistent compared to what we are accustomed to receive from 4 or 5-star hotels on such an occasion. Food was terrible as well, but it would be the caterer not the management to be responsible for.

Wedding planner Keith M was fantastic. Everyone at the wedding had a great time. The grounds are beautiful, no complaints at all.
