Overland Pond Park

Nice little pull off for a walk near the river 🏞 Spacious parking lot & gravel trails. Picnic tables by the pond as well. Was disappointed to see that Overland lake, next to the pond, is being used for golf practice @ the adjacent 'Aqua Golf' place. Tired of seeing golf everywhere that encroaches on nature.

Homeless camp set up there. But we were there for the birds. Nice pond near parking lot but not a place to linger. The river was very nice and we walked the trail next to the golf course. Saw LOTS of geese. And some golden eye ducks. Worth the trip.

Its like a little peaceful hideaway. So beautiful

Went there to fish. Didn't catch anything. Park is full of wildlife. Ducks, geese, and turtles. Right next to bike path and Platte River. Quiet benches all around the lake to relax.
