I should’ve read the reviews here first but I went to this Salvation Army to donate a huge amount of various goods. Some of them were unboxed and a lot of the clothes were unworn from very good brands. I was too lazy to sell my stuff and I didn’t want to give it to a rip off company like ThredUp because they’re unethical. It wasn’t after I donated my stuff that I looked around and saw the prices are kind of high. The stuff I have are mostly new, I thought I would be able to help someone who isn’t as fortunate and also, get myself a receipt for a donation. Well I got what I wanted, but I think it’s greedy of this store to price so high. What bothered me the most was that while I was donating my items, the employees were digging through my stuff. It seemed like they were calling dibs on some of my stuff before I even finished unpacking anything. There’s good intentions here and lots of nice stuff but honestly, I felt so unappreciated when I was donating. I had to go around and ask an employee what I’m supposed to do because they don’t have any clear process when you walk in.

Happy Lunar new year to the staff! Great finds! At the register there is a 50% discount given to the tag price.

Prices are ridiculously high, especially since everything was donated to them. Staff in this location seems to just have taken over and they just talk to each other all day. Store is a hot mess.

Yes as far as I know. If the tax deductible for donations haven't changed.
They don't give you cash when you donate your items they give you a receipt so you can write down what you donated and you can put down the cash value for your taxes.
