Avoid at all costs, this company is only legal scams and run arounds and will hang up on you when you call.

MPIUA sent me a nonsense list of repairs they compelled me to complete in 30 days or be faced with non-renewal. The list was very vague. When I called MPIUA the operator was rude and completely unhelpful. My agent couldn't make scene of the list either. MPIUA added more repairs when we asked for more clarification. The time frame they gave us was completely unrealistic leading me to lack confidence in MPIUA's knowledge home replacement repair. we are very disappointed customers.

Premiums too expensive. You take advantage of people who are declined from other companies because, not up to their “standard”. For example: fuse box has be upgraded to circuit breakers. Yes, know that! Saving to do so. GOODBYE after 30+ years as a customer WITH NO CLAIMS. Many can’t afford an electrician ($3000/$4000)! So, The only company that will cover us, is you folks! You’re THIEVES taking advantage with you’re outrageous premiums, knowing we have to have insurance and their you are with open arms! HOW CAN YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

What happens to your insurance when you finish paying off your mortgage?

You wont have to have insurance on your property if it is paid off. you probably should keep it- you have so much in your homeowners policy , including liability- so it is a good idea to keep it. the only thing that will really change is if your mortgage paid it out of escrow, you would now have to pay it on your own.

I Have a dead tree and it looks like it is going to fall onto my neighbors house, would this be covered by home owners insurance?

As of now there is no coverage since there hasn't been an occurrence. In the event the tree fell and caused damage to your neighbors home, this could be covered, depending on what caused the tree to fall. I would consult with your insurance agent and or legal counsel if this should occur.
