I myself volunteer at this shelter it may be small, but it is big on love for animals in need. The staff of volunteers are great always providing the care that these animals need. The animal control officer is also awesome she does her best to find furever homes for all pets adopted.

The adoption process was easy and the staff was more than accommodating. The new facility is beautiful. The little girl that was adopted transitioned very well and is doing awesome in her new home.

I can not believe the bad reviews of this place. I have found the workers to be very nice. When I adopted my kitten and rabbit from them they sent me home with a multitude of goodies for them. They had pictures of the updates from my cat on the wall and the people were so nice to me! When one of my rabbits got loose and someone turned them in to the animal shelter the shelter even opened early to let me come collect her. I have found these people to be nothing but kind and great. They made sure my kitten was going to a good home and took good care of her She is disabled and it would have been easy for them to not care about her. When I adopted her the fee covered her: micro chipping, spay and all her medical visits for the first year. I always refer people to swansea animal shelter. I did NOT like Project Spay also in Swansea.
