Love Alley Kat Lanes ( or as we call it “Kitty Kat Lanes”). Been coming here for years from Hanover. Will bypass Boston Bowl in our town and make the drive down to Kingston for several reasons. Alley Kat is geared towards families and will remind you of the type of bowling alley you went to as a kid. They’re all about the bowling with some current updates like automatic scoring. When you check in they will ask you for your names in order of how you will bowl. That’s it and the names will appear on the scoring screen. All you do is bowl and your scores will be automatically added up. I can’t stress how friendly and nice the staff are especially towards kids. Both people working the desk were more than helpful and pleasant towards our grandkids, laughing and joking with them. Several years ago some of the lanes were taken out ( there are still plenty) for an Arcade. Kids today love Arcades and it’s nice to see them playing games on something besides an iPhone. Grandkids had a blast as there are lots and lots of different games in the Arcade. They earned some points and got some silly prizes that they’ll loose in a week but hey isn’t that what’s supposed to happen at an Arcade. Have to mention that the place is exceptionally clean with hand sanitizer available every where. There are snacks and vending machines available too. The complex is actually made up of 2 buildings. This one is for candlepin bowling only. There is a ten pin alley building next door that I have not visited. ( Why would I this is New England after all) Getting back to why I drive by Boston Bowl in my own town (Hanover) and drive all the way down to Kingston is because Alley Kat is all about the bowling not an “Experience “ like at Boston Bowl. The last time ( and it will be my last time) I went to Boston Bowl with my grandkids, we were subjected to loud offensive music and even more offensive and inappropriate videos all over the walls. If I had wanted to watch MTV I would have stayed home. All we wanted to do was bowl. Alley Kat please don’t change, stay a family friendly “ Bowling Alley” and don’t become an MTV video disguised as a bowling alley.

The staff is so welcoming, and there's so much go on. Bowling, arcade games, pinball and refreshments. Great way to spend some time with the kiddos!

Thank you for a fantastic birthday party! Dave was awesome! He was so sweet to the kids and incredibly helpful. Also, thank you to Jim for making this party happen. Our 7 year old was so happy! We are very grateful! :)

Bowling here is fun for us as there is usually not too big a crowd. The arcade is small and not manned, you buy cards and turn in tickets via machine which can have it's ups and downs.
