I have had two bad experience's. 1st was the urgent care last year did nothing to help me and ended up at hospital. 2nd was pre-opp screwed up and didn't check me in it the front desk there for I sat over and HR in the waiting room with a hernia hurting bad. When the mistake was found , a pre-opp that could have taken care of in an HR took almost 3 hers. I had a ride waiting on me because I didn't trust myself driving. I had to let my ride go so he wouldn't be late for work. When I finally got threw it had to call and wait in a taxi that cost me $20 to go 4 mls. This is unexceptable. At the end your left to deal with a problem they caused. I will be lodging a complaint with my doctor and inscurance company to hopefully get something fixed in a broken system.

Today was my third visit. As always the staff was friendly and efficient. In and out in under an hour with a prescription called to my pharmacy. Thank you all for making it a pleasant experience.

Waiting Room: obnoxiously loud Televisions in waiting room. So loud you cannot here the practitioners as they call patient names. Spoke to a manager who told me they have to be that loud to protect Hippa Rights. I understand Hippa Rights and privacy are important: but can you honestly expect anyone to believe St Mary's Healthcare: a Healthcare industry with 80 million dollars in annual revenue: cannot afford privacy glass to help meet hippa rights? Manager (Christine) was not interested in hearing my concerns. She offered me a seat in another section of lobby. I do not like St Mary's Healthcare Network. They don't make patients feel heard.

I am here right now getting a Covid test and strep throat test. I couldn’t wait to write a review. This urgent care has made this whole process less hectic. I just feel warm, I really like the way that I am being treated here. Thank you for your kindness, my registrar, my nurse, and my provider Janice Pink.

We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on our website at ascension.org.
You can walk in but you have to go to the tent first , before you go into the building
If someone is experiencing severe mental distress, care shouldn’t be delayed. A person experiencing a mental health crisis should go directly to the emergency room or call 911. ERs at Ascension hospitals are open 24/7, offering compassionate care for urgent mental health crisis intervention. And rest assured that safety precautions are in place to help protect patients and families.
While you don’t need an appointment at our urgent care and walk-in locations, you have the option of scheduling your visit online. You can select a time in the next 24 hours at a location that’s close to you, then wait in the comfort of your home.
Our urgent care clinics offer online check-in for patients so you can wait somewhere you feel more comfortable or walk in anytime.
Our urgent care clinics are ready to provide the care patients need in one place. Lab and imaging are available onsite.
We have fully staffed urgent cares to take care of your needs and to help reduce the time from door to doctor.
Because we’re more than urgent care, we can connect you to the follow-up care that’s right for you. We have a large network of specialists and a broad range of care options, so you can find a doctor that meets your needs.
Typically an urgent care visit will cost less than an ER visit, but this may depend on many factors, such as insurance coverage and/or the services required to address your health needs. Your co-pay and out-of-pocket costs at an urgent care clinic are typically much less than what you are charged at the emergency room.
Ascension urgent care teams treat common, non life-threatening, minor illnesses and injuries, including allergies, fever, severe sore throat, allergic reactions, asthma, cuts, back pain, minor burns and rash, bug and animal bites, cold and flu symptoms, sinus pain and ear infections, headaches, muscle sprains, strains and swollen joints, strep throat, pink eye, and UTI (urinary tract infections).
Ascension Online Care is available 24/7 when and where you need urgent care. If you can’t talk to your regular doctor, or if you need care more quickly, you can video chat with a doctor 24/7 through Ascension Online Care using your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Download Ascension Online Care from the App Store or Google Play or visit ascension.org/onlinecare to learn more.
Our urgent care teams are comprised of doctors, APRNs (advanced practice registered nurses), nurse practitioners and nurses.
When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between urgent care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek urgent care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1.
That is hard to answer without knowing what you will be seen for. Depending on what is wrong and what is done will determine charges. There is an unisured discount and St. Mary's Healthcare has an assistance program you may qualify for.
