Parkwood Village is a great community with awesome staff. I have lived here for almost 3 years and highly recommend them to friends and family, several of whom have moved here, too. The apartments are spacious, the grounds are well kept, the running trails are a great bonus, and the property managers really care. Compared to the other developments that I have lived in, Parkwood ranks at the very top.

I have lived in Parkwood Village North for 5 years now . It has been mostly a positive experience! Everyone in Albany Management is friendly, and they work hard at keeping up the place. If there is any problem with anything, it seems to be taken care of in a short amount of time. Any emergency whether small or large, someone is always there to take care of the matter promptly! If I could give zero stars, I would. I am a current resident and have been experiencing a severe problem with mold. They had the audacity to blame me for the mold problem, because I paid additional money for a method to get rid of it. I have photos proving that I’ve had mold in my entire unit (on my shoes, smell of my clothing), plus black mold under the kitchen sink, but these slumlords choose to blame me instead of taking responsibility. The solution was to put in a dehumidifier, which only causes me more in electric bills. Don’t rent here. It’s a disgrace. I’m biding my time until the lease is up. It’s not worth the money or effort to get a lawyer at this point. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. They are the definition of SLUMLORDS.

Parkwood Village Apartments is hands down THE WORST apartment complex in the Saratoga County / Albany Capital Region. 1. My apartment was infested with rats and only after multiple requests they agreed to plug the holes in wall. Once I went out of town and came home to rat feces lying everywhere on kitchen floor. Serious health hazard. 2. They grossly overcharge move-out expenses. They will make up false expenses and make you pay for it. You have no option but to pay and they know that. After check out they added expenses to the signed move out form. 3. Response to maintenance requests is lousy. 4. They recommended a maid (Felica) for move out services and I hired her thinking since they recommended her, she must know what they are looking for in the move out check. Reasonable, right? Wrong! Paid full price to maid and also an additional $100 for cleaning. The management has no integrity, maintainence staff is lousy, and this place is a health hazard. Stay away from this place at all cost!
