This camp took my daughter to the hospital and didn't inform me of it until she was there. They refused to let my daughter speak to me while she was at the hospital, and they told me "everything was under control" and that I just needed to "calm down." The next day they took her to a doctor's office and never told me about it. I only found out because my daughter called me crying about it on her call night. The nurses refused to give her medicine multiple times. When she told them she felt like she was going to throw up they gave her a can of ginger ale and told her to go sit outside and drink it. They also lied to me multiple times about call night and about my daughters health. My daughter tried to text me one day while crying and the only thing the camp did was yell at her to put her phone away. The camp really doesn't care about you, they do the bare minimum to act like they care.

Unfortunately, today I learned that this camp does not prioritize the kids.  Their website states that "our campers feel totally safe, supported, appreciated and at ease" but that was not evident in my experience today. As a pediatrician unaffiliated with this camp, I understand a camp has myriad responsibilities, yet I would hope as a partner in supporting kids, that each camper would be treated respectfully and with compassion. Instead there was a lack of kindness, refusal of any accountability and a surprising level of poor communication. The owner's letter on their website claims that they are "making sure the HUGE TRUST and faith you place in us is well deserved", yet I am dismayed to share this was not evident in my recent effort to collaborate with those in charge to effectively support their claim.

Absolutely the BEST performing arts camp there is. Hands down. I went there as a kid in the 70s and my son attended for 4 summers and it changed his life. There is no place else like it. The staff is AMAZING! The programs are top notch . The food and lodging were great and the grounds are gorgeous. Dont hesitate to send your child. They will have the time of there life!

It's a summer camp. They have an arts camp and an adventure camp. There are 3 - 3 week sessions. It's been a great place for our son.
