Since the one in rostraver is under new ownership it's just not the same quality. I went to the Jake's in Belle Vernon and it hit the spot. Everything was awesome. I would recommend to anyone looking for pizza in the mon valley

No place likes Jakes! Of course I'm biased, Worked there growing up, family did I mention the pizza is really good. Yeah the Pizza is really good.

Jake's is more than just a restaurant. It's a place that's barely changed since my best friend's uncle worked there back in the day. The food is absolutely incredible and the people who operate the place are as fantastic as ever. Great consistency in quality, and will always hold special memories. If you find yourself in the area you need to stop by. Trust me you won't regret it.

I tried Jake's after reading the reviews and knowing what in the area I view as good. Unfortunately, this just didn't do it for me. The pie was very hot, fresh, and crispy. The sauce/cheese combo just had a very odd aftertaste. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something was off. I guess it's just not my style.
