Absolutely the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with, and no hospitality or understanding. You get run around after run around. Sure it's free, but at what cost of sanity for the patient? I'm on life sustaining medication and they have threatened to cut off my supply because they told me one day the hospital blood work was good enough and to come in and sign a release, then calls the wrong number on file to cancel my appointment (so I came in to a cancelled appointment), to then be told to get the blood work the following morning from LabCorp, which I do, only to then be told I wasted my time with more absolute rudeness on the phone, and rather demeaning people. Honestly, you should tape the calls if you can, because they'll even claim they didn't say something to you when they very clearly did. There's zero communication between employee's it seems, and after every doctor and hospital I have ever been at in my life, I have never had one that treated me so horribly as this one. I used to drive 2 and a half hours to another free doctor, and they were always kind, helpful, and if they messed up they knew I drove a long distance and would work to help you. This place, no, that simply isn't going to happen. I get it they are volunteers, but you have a duty to show some compassion, not just be rude to your patience because you are volunteering. I've volunteered for many thins that were even without reward, and I still did it with a smile on my face. Now I'm on medication that is required for my heart or I will die, being put on Prozac that you can't even be taken off cold turkey, and it's excuse after excuse with the attitude from them. I even have been told on the phone they carry Prozac, only to be told in the office they do not, and when confronted about it, they tell me "Oh yea we do actually". What in the world is going on here? I'll be considering a different place, because this is just such an absolute nightmare of a place. And sometimes when you DO get medicine, it has someone else name and RX number under the label with your name on it. (I know that they accept donated medicine which is ok if it's closed, but it's good HIPAA practice to rip the old label off, not leave some other patience name on the bottle. Even North Bay hospital was in shock when they saw how they are packaging medications.) EDIT: I now go to Premier, and the service is FAR nicer. Not only were they easily able to get my medical records from the hospital, they found something in my CT scan causing pain. Good Samaritan never once got my medical records despite signing their authorization form 3 times while giving me attitude. Premier were not only extremely professional, they were very friendly and had absolutely the best bedside manners, from the doctors AND the staff. Go to them instead, you don't get a run around. I got treated on my first visit, whereas Good Samaritan had me visit 3 times before I ever saw a doctor.

Totally free unless you can make a $5.00 donation at the time of each appointment or volunteer to help clean & straightening up the waiting room. They do the best they can & have given me my important meds to keep me out of the ER/Hospital (such meds as) Blood pressure, cholesterol, 81mg aspirins, GERD capsules, chronic bronchitis inhaler, etc .... They are Not able to give our help with any type of narcotics, psych meds &/or controlled substances. They Do have a dentist for extractions & fillings.

They do everything they can for me and are excited to find new ways to help. I've never had such good medical care, even when I was insured. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing people doing volunteer work!

I was turned away from them today because I had no proof of income of my elderly parents that I am temporarily living with. I have 0 income, so I guess you actually have to be homeless to get care in my case. They did however give me a beautifully laminated business card for 2-1-1. That should be helpful with my health issue.

1st, that was a VERY strange Q. 2nd, it's VERY unclear what the correct answer might be! Wow!
Teeth extracted and fillings. No dentures as they are cosmetic
Yes.
No. You have to go to the Health Department for that. They will do the exams there.
If you qualify and register to be a new client there they absolutely can help you with that. They are a wonderful organization and have a wide variety of doctors and specialist that they can refer you to if they aren't able to treat you. Good luck with that I hate styes I get them frequently to the point they become a little tiny white head that I actually have to pop like a pimple on my eyelid..
No. They can refer you to one.
No. Not at all. It's a free health clinic for those who can't afford health insurance.
Yes you need to make an appointment first then you can go 😊
Those are not services we provide. Your best bet might be the county health department or call 211 for information
No they do not but Premier's doctor office is similar to Good Samaritan. They go by sliding scale if you have no insurance & they help out if you have no money or income. They have a program specifically for addicts who want to detox and get clean. Also call baycare on king helie. They have a MAT & a detox/inpatient program that helps those with low/ no income.
