The most amazing tour of the river and a remarkable walk through history of sponge diving! The stories Capt. George regaled we’re fascinating and taught us so much! This tour cost under $20 and it was The BEST thing we did in Tarpon Springs! A must do! Thx Capt. George!

Loved this tour !!! Great way to spend an hour on the water. Diver Frank was fabulous and the Captain was so informative about Tarpon history, sponges and diving. The whole crew was wonderful. Highly recommend for all ages. We had two adults and two 4 year olds.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging tour; definitely a great value! I went on the tour with my mom and aunt while taking a day off while working remotely in Florida. The individual working the ticketing booth was very personable. She gave some great lunch recommendations before departing. The crew was laid back and took time to chat with the my mother, aunt, and I. The captain is the owner of St. Nicholas Boat Line and his family has been sponge diving in Tarpon Springs for several generations. We got to see the diver, Frank, put on the traditional dive suit for the day. Seeing him jump in and come back up with a sponge was remarkable! The tour is designed to allow people to take pictures and ask questions. While the dive is the most exciting part, you also get to learn about the history of the area and the industry. The boat wasn't overcrowded and did not have a overwhelmingly touristy vibe. I would recommend for families and those interested in learning a little more than what you can pick up from reading online and from the signage in the area.

Another highly recommended boat ride for the whole family in Tarpon Springs! It was a great way to spend an hour out on the water and the diver was absolutely fabulous! Very informative, didn't mind questions. It a great way to have a little time on the water and learn about sponges and older diving equipment. Very interesting!

Ten bucks for adults , nine for seniors and five for kids
Every few hours. $10 for seniors
I think the times are not specific or consistent in the off- season. Your best bet is to go to the ticket booth and ask. You won't need to get tickets ahead of time at this point in the off-season. I think they only are going out 1-2 times w day during the summer.
No reservations needed, walk up and buy a ticket, sorry no cocktails
1 Depends on how many people will be going, 2 tour takes about 45 minutes 3 ten for adults nine for seniors five for kids little guys are free
