Was my first time to Journey. Great "campus", and facilities!!! Pastor Harvey Carpenter delivered a great message, that was thought provoking and insightful!!! Was amazing!!! Tons of energy into all of the service! Will be going back!

We had our Leadership Summit at Journey Christian Church Apopka 🙏🏿💒🙌🏿 The Pastor and Staff welcomed my Church Family (Majestic Life Church) and treated us like Family. The Church is beautiful and the flowers were my personal favorite 🌸🌼🌺

New to area and looking for a Bible based church with life groups. We attended this church and here is our experience: Pros: Welcome area for first timers, friendly greeters Somewhat Bible based hard to tell as Christmas time) Good worship time Cons; No personal follow up , generic reply that takes weeks for a response Life groups cost money.... no way to get into life groups without being charged. They should be free in order get to know people . Money should not be a requirement. When I inquired about this I was sent a generic email that did not address my issue at all. They do not stand behind their mission statement which is "Everyone is welcome" it's only if you have money, Overall: It seems like they are trying you out to see if you have enough money to be part of their church . It should be about getting people connected with the mission of Jesus. If they deem you to not have enough money they ignore you and hopes you just go away. Definitely not what Jesus taught . Best takeaway: At least it was easy to figure out this is not the church for us. My advice is not to be fooled by a good sounding mission statement. Evaluate to see if they are working towards that goal. My advice to this check church is. Work on doing a better job living out your mission statement. You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Strive to make sure each person that walks through your doors is seeing them as Jesus would. It's not all about money .
