My experience here was horrible. Avoid this place. As soon as we walked in there was no one at front to help waited about 30 mins before someone from the back came up front. Immediately they asked why we were there and why we needed help more than others. I explained my situation we just moved back to town 2 months ago and were having a rough start hadn’t found work yet and were sleeping in our car. We told her we had been to one other food pantry before this one. The girl immediately started accusing us of abusing the food pantries and said she would red flag us for abuse because she didn’t consider us to be truly in need of help to apply for food stamps instead they were not going to help us. That the pantry is only for residents. Again I explained our situation we left town to find work and didn’t have luck so we came back home. Mind you I am a Florida resident of 20+ yrs. I never went back there. I found 2 other food pantries who did help us out. Fast forward to today. We are doing great now. I don’t recommend this place at all. There are other places that do not treat you like criminals for asking help. And help without so much scrutiny.
