This is local & very enjoyable. The crab cakes and shrimp are delicious. I wanted to try one crab to see if I liked them (haven't had much seafood) but didn't want to pay for all u can eat if I didn't. I wish the waitress would've let me try one. . I'd come here again.

The crab chowder could have had some more crab in it. It was way too salty, unless it was intended to get you to drink more since it is a bar too. The salad bar was very nice, good quality. Our server was stretched thin, but she was very experienced and took good care of us. It was my dad's birthday, so we were taking him out to have a good time. He got the surf and turf ( lobster and New York strip) The lobster was great. The fries that came with it were so salty, he could not eat them. The steak that was supposed to be medium rare, looked like a steak that was reheated from 2 days ago, beyond well done and dried out. However, when we told our waitress, she had them bring out a replacement, that was a perfect medium, rare, juicy and tender. The crab legs were good, salty, but it's hard to get them wrong. We also had steamed clams that were fantastic. I will definitely go back, but be careful what I select. I had a broiled seafood platter that was great, except the scallops were very salty.

I like the food but, yesterday may 29th 2022 around 2:30pm, I called the restaurant for a take out order. The girl that answered asked me to hold, which I can't remember her name but I think she said Kara. Anyway, she layer phone down and never picked it back up, as she continued to talk to people at bar and I continued to hold and hear everything she said. She would tell guys, " I got you babe, I'll take care of you" and went on like this for nearly 15 minutes. Not once did she concern herself with picking up the phone and taking my order. I guess getting good tips from the customers at the bar was more important than than continuing to get more customers or keeping them happy via the phone. I think the owner is awesome, and I have met her her a few times, but the girls need to remember good customer service to all is important or it will cause them to lose some.
