While it's under new ownership, we were delighted to see that this restaurant had survived Covid. We were here for casual lunch on a Saturday. I had a steak salad which was fresh and delicious. My husband a burger with a side of the house chips. He said the burger was tasty and I can attest that the chips were good too. We wandered around inside afterwards. There are many rooms in this historic building. It would be a great place to have an event.

What a lovely little restaurant! The food is great, the ambiance splendid! Feels glamorous, relaxed, and serene all at the same time. We live locally or we'd consider staying at the hotel. There's a terrace out back that feels like a secret garden. There's also a dining room with fireplace that you can rent for special events.
