Parking lot filled up quickly on Saturday morning. There are a good number of places to hike to from this lot, all at a short distance w/ only a moderate elevation gain (including a nice view at Compton peak.)

The views are amazing. The trails have a steep and rocky drop through lovely woods down to the 4H, go counterclockwise for the easiest climb back up to the parking area.

Great short but powerful hike! Cross skyline drive to pick up the trail. Take a left instead of a right at the trail crossing to see some really cool rock formations down a steep path. Beautiful view if you take that right. Enjoy!
