Visited for lunch on a Saturday and it was very busy. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table (not bad) and once seated service was fast. Food was good, home cooked style and tasty. Love the meatloaf!

In general, it's an okay place to go. We usually have a fairly nice time. However, I'm not sure what happened during this last trip, but our food did not come as ordered. Steak was ordered medium and came WELL done. I don't have crazy expectations, but we come here at least once a month and usually don't have issues. I will note that the shop is a wonderful place to get items of yesteryear.

A restaurant you can count on for consistent home cooking while you travel by car throughout the US. My favorite is breakfasts here but you can also get "stick to your ribs" home cooked dinners as well. Don't come here looking for healthy options as you will be very disappointed. If you have to wait to be seated they have a general store at the front with all kinds of things you don't need but will be pressured by your kids and spouse to buy. It helps to pass the time and might even remind you of random games and things from the past.
