Was here April 16, 2022. This is a little gem. Cost $0 for enter. They only ask for donations. Talk to a volunteer firefighter and his son there. What good example he is setting. Museum itself is small. Have 2 floor. Have some retire fire trucks there. You can even seat in it. Personally. I really enjoy this place. See how and what they use to fight fire. Great for little ones.

Really cute, well kept place. A retired firefighter gave us a tour. They've done a great job keeping everything in good condition and it is really interesting to learn some history. It is also nice that it is free. If you call it says they open at 9am on the recording, but the door says 10am. And any souvenirs are cash only.

We brought our family as we have a son in training. Very interesting and informative history of our firemen. We enjoyed it.

Found this hidden gem while attending an event at the art museum....a quick walk through the theater and there is the fire museum. Free admission and you get a free patch! Volunteers run the museum and donations are welcome.... Beautiful vintage trucks are parade ready and the firehouse is shown as originally operated in the early 1900s. Definitely worth 30 minutes the next time you are in the area.
