We have a wonderful Christmas concert and several events throughout the season beginning in the fall when the seasonal vacationers come down. Check out the Englewood United Methodist Church website for all the upcoming events.
Not only is this service attended by mostly a younger demographic but the music is Contemporary Christian rather than traditional that you find in hymnals. This service receives the same sermon as the traditional services. The music is lead by our praise and worship team, Fusion by Fire. Our Sanctuary Choir sings at the 11:00 AM traditional service and for Easter and Christmas the choir presents a Cantata for both the contemporary and traditional services. This service also receives Communion on the 1st Sunday of the month same as the traditional services. Allow me to offer an invitation to visit any of the services. You will leave with a renewed sense of hope, encouragement and joy!!
The Easter Egg Hunt is always the Saturday of Holy Week, the day before Easter.
The 7:45 am service is traditional with nursery. The 9:15 am service is contemporary with Kids sermonette, nursery and programming for all kids by ages. At 11am, the nursery is open and a one room ministry for children is available during this traditional service.
