Sherry/Shelly or whatever her name is, was a disrespectful piece of you know what. I have never been talked to so rudely in my life. I was polite and asked a question regarding a portability packet and how to find rentals. She interrupted me and rudely said we do not help with that here and hung up on me. How rude of a person to treat someone so disrespectful. My mother is disabled and needs help, so I’m trying to help her find a place and I also understand, that section 8 has a bad reputation when it comes to what you might have heard, but not all people on section 8 are low life scumbags Sherry so maybe you should treat them with a little more respect next time someone calls to ask a simple question. You are so lucky that Florida doesn’t allow audio recordings to be admissible or you would’ve been fired by the way you treated me on that phone call if I had sent it to your boss. You need a new profession if you can’t speak with the public in a respectful way.

worst place ever. I was on there waiting list for 4 years and I responded to every letter and phone call received. I checked my status over the phone FREQUENTLY. I find it very funny how I get to number 4 on the waiting list, when I started at 500 and something, and all of a sudden my social can’t be found on the listing. I was removed from the waiting list and no one will respond to me on why. This place sucks and everyone you get on the phone with is completely rude. I agree with other reviews, this place needs to be under investigation like NOW.

***** HUD FIELD OFFICE PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS LOCATION!!!***** *************CORRUPTION************* Seminole County Housing Authority needs to be investigated for their corrupt and unethical practices. The employees are poorly trained to deal with tenant information and openly gossip about confidential information openly in their office around other tenants. They try to intimidate you by nitpicking and belittling you when you start to ask questions that they do not want to take responsibility for. DO NOT FALL FOR IT, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING if you have to deal with them. Always have a paper trail! There is absolutely no integrity in this agency, they love to power trip if they feel they can get over on you, and someone needs to do a detailed audit on their financials, I am more than sure there is a loop hole they are using to gain personal benefit. This office also caters to the people they grew up with or have "friendships" with (who are also tenants in the Public Housing portion of the property), and on top of that some of the employees for this location are former tenants... so be careful who you have conflict with, you more than likely will be on bad terms with the office as well because they listen to gossip, they are too incompetent to investigate for facts! IF YOU ARE GOING TO HOLD TENANTS ACCOUNTABLE, YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT AND HOLD ALL TO THE SAME EXPECTATIONS no matter your personal relationship with them! Seminole County Housing Authority you are the slum landlords of Oviedo!

Do anyone at this place give the correct information out? Also you will have an extended period of waiting to hear from someone and once you reach the top of the waiting list you will somehow end up back in the thousands. Still never got an answer as to why this occurred. I also noticed that their website and waiting list check phone number always have maintenance issues. BAD FOR BUSINESS
