This is a very nice campground. My fiancé and I stayed here a little while ago and we loved it! The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and there are many nice trails as well. Lots of wildlife! The management/owners are very helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back!

I stayed with two friends over Labor Day weekend. None of the 3 workers wore masks when I checked in at the store. The campground was filled with drunks with multiple confederate flags hanging. They were yelling aggressively at each other the whole night, violating the quiet hours. I heard the last yell at 5:30am. My friends and I were uncomfortable, and I had difficulty sleeping. Even if the owners do not support this type of behavior, they were condoning it by allowing people to violate the quiet hours. Campsites were lumped together with only a few random trees separating the site and they were a bit muddy. Luckily we were able to situate our tents in the middle of several campsites because the adjacent sites were empty. Lastly, the “ice cream store” was an ice cream chest of treats. False advertising.

My buddy has a camper there. I was going to buy my own because the area is beautiful, but staying with my buddy one weekend before I was getting ready to make this investment I was on my friends quad when I got stopped by the owner (Bill) who told me I cannot go on the trails which is the only reason I wanted to buy something anyway. Later that night I saw Bill and his friends on the trails having fun. The owner wants it all for himself.

Had a great time. Very friendly campers really make you feel welcomed. At first I was Hesitant after reading a lot of the older reviews but the new owners has done a beautiful job in a short time period. 4 new cabins and from the outside they look great. The waterfall is not a bad walk and beautiful definitely worth it. And if you are into primitive camping they have really primitive site’s on the mountain. But if you like being around other’s they also have nice campsites. And the bathroom was very clean. What a great weekend. thank you!
