Very kind and caring staff. They are very thorough. I highly recommend Sheltering Hands for the spaying/neutering of your cat!

Amazing place and staff. Very caring, professional and great prices for neutering and spaying! It's quite the distance for me but so worth the drive...Thank you Sheltering Hands!😺🐾
Diana's Enchanting crafts & talents
Brought my kitten to be spayed and found out at pick up that she was 3 weeks pregnant and they aborted them!!!! No call no nothing just took in their hands to kill 3 baby kittens!! I am livid and devastated… I guess it stated in fine print that if cats are pregnant they kill them!!! If I could I would sue because regardless they should of called me!! Is was not a wild cat she was my cat a house cat!!!! My heart is broken!! No more sheltering hands for me!!

Said they were open online and when you go to the door it said to knock, but nobody came to the door. I called over and over but there's no way to talk to anyone... just a unending string of press this and press that. There was people walking around but nobody said anything...I had to ask someone and they said nobody was there. Very unprofessional and I drove like 10 miles to get there for nothing. At these gas prices I can't afford to waste the time or money. Not pleased and won't return and wouldn't recommend.

I know they do the spring and neutering every Wednesday and Friday and they do it on 2 Mondays per month. If you need more info call and leave a message they will call you back, it may take a day or so cause I don't think they are open everyday! They are really nice and very reasonable priced! Here is their website but also know they only deal with cats! Hope this helps! https://shelteringhands.rescuegroups.org/
It's now 8:30. Just dropped off kittens this morning. Thank you
If they have room they do. This time of year its unlikely. Definitely give them a call.
No Sheltering Hands does only spay and neuter. I would check with Humane Society, not Animal Control on Baseline! Bruce Fishelow is director and is really kind. Speak to him directly and he may have some ideas. Most likely if you talk to someone else it will get you nowhere. Good luck
You can leave food on weekends at Petsmart in Ocala at the adoption center
Yes
$50. U can schedule an appointment online. You drop off in the morning and pick up between 4:30-5:30 that evening.
Surgery is Monday, Wednesday and Friday by appointment. You can book on our website. Adoptions please call 352-840-0663 option 1.
Yes that is correct for neutered and flea treatment. All other shots may be more. It's get the kitten what it needs right now.
Hi. Unfortunately we do not have trap teams available to do that. We suggest contacting either Marion County Animal Services or Vocal for Pets. We do have traps available to borrow if you make an appointment to have the cat spayed/neutered with us.
Little City Dogs.com for affordable cat flea treatment
Hi Tom, we received your question. In order to help can you tell us how many cats you are looking of rehome? Are they friendly or feral?
Hi Paige, The best days and times for donation drop offs are Monday 9-12, Tuesday except 10/15 from 10-2, Wednesday from 11-3, Friday 11-3. Our address is 10397 N Hwy 27 Ocala FL 34482
Was she spayed today? If so no food or water until after 8 pm today. Then just a bit. Keep her in the carrier until tomorrow morning. Then you can let her out in say a quiet small bathroom. After another day or two you can let her back out to her normal routine. They should have told you this wherever you had her spayed.
on some sundays they do surgery
Thankyou.
Yes
Yes they do we had the mom done first and then two kittens they have to be about 12 weeks old. Great organization!
I am not with sheltering hands but I have used them to get my cats fixed before. Last I heard a couple weeks ago they are unable to take anymore cats in. But they can fix them for $35 per cat.
Why on gods green earth would you dump you senior dogs? Please take them to your vet and kindly have them put to sleep. I just can not understand why you would dump them at this age. The HS is an over growded hell hole.
Sheltering Hands does not do this. They only spay Nd neuter. Make sure you use a good flea control. Not hartz or supermarket brands. Ask a local vet for Drontal it will cover all types of worms.
Sheltering Hands at this time is a cats only organization. There are organizations locally that can help.
Sheltering Hands has limited hours of operation as they are mostly a surgical and adoption center. You may contact them my phone or on their website for additional information. Please remember to spay and neuter.
