Great worship experience

Attended Elim SDA Church in St. Petersburg Florida today 10/1/16...what a disappointment. Not one person greeted us when we walked in, no one motioned us to come to thier Sabbath school area when people split up into groups, until one elderly gentleman motioned us to join him. We couldn't really hear anything due to a very loud gentleman apparently holding class in the rear of the Sanctuary,this same person continued speaking with a lady way past Sabbath school time and was over talking the young man at the front trying to read the mission story. Then "Worship Service" began... complete with a traditional piano, two electronic pianos, a bass guitar and drums. The choir may have angelic voices,but one would never know due to the musicians playing ever so loudly. Then came announcements and meet and greet. Of course we were recognized as "guests" . That was the extent of that, oh sure a few cursory" Happy Sabbath's" were exchanged....then it quickly moved into a quasi blues concert ,replete with the Barney Miller tune being strummed on the bass guitar. The noise my friends was deafening😱 What has become of Worship time? We couldn't take it anymore and left with disappointment in our hearts and ringing in our ears. And last quarter Sabbath Study , obviously was not really taken to heart by the Elim SDA Church.
