I would like to update a review I made about the Road Maintenance Department 2 years ago. Since that review, I've submitted 4 or 5 requests for road maintenance for Taft St and the adjoining Jayson Dr. Each and every time, someone has called within a week to let me know that they inspected the roads and assured me the roads would be repaired. I wish I had gotten the man's name. He was courteous and respectful, AND, within another week or two, the roads were re-graded enough to make them safe to drive on. I would still like to see Taft St paved--it connects to Sunshine Grove Road and other similar roads connecting to Sunshine have already been paved. I submit my request ONLINE and not over the phone.

This review is strictly in regards to management of hernando county road repair and maintenance SPECIALLY MR. WILSON. It should not take over 7 months for them to do their job and countless phone calls with NO return phone calls, disrespectful knownit all attitude. There is not a word that comes out of that man's mouth that is truthful.

I don't even know where to start, I've lived on High Corner road for 20 years. I have called numerous times to complain about our rd. I always get told my name will be added to the list. How long is the list? By the time they fix our road every car and truck that we own will need a front end Alignments. Are you going to pay for that? Without mentioning any names a certain someone always seems to get the road fixed in front of their house, While everyone else on the road has to suffer, and has to have their name added to the list. I want to be added to the special list like a certain someone. This is the 2nd week in a row the road department came in fix the road only in front of that certain someone's house and left the rest of the road and full of potholes. I'm furious now. This is getting out of hand. FIX OUR ROAD ASAP AND STOP SHOWING FAVORITISM!!!!!!! I have recorded the condition of our rd and I will post it. So everyone can see that there is favoritism at our rd dept. Your moto should say, (Welcome to Brooksville, ashes to ashes dust to dust if you ride on our roads your car will bust!!!!!!!!!!)

Clerks were pleasant enough when I called to report that our dirt road is washed out--that was 2 weeks ago. Heavy rains has made the road even more impassable. Paying $3400+/year in property taxes, I would like to be able to get out of my driveway without damaging the axles on my vehicle. Newspaper carrier, mail carrier, garbage trucks--all are having trouble on Taft Street. No excuse. If they won't pave the road, then for the taxes we pay, we expect at least a passable dirt road to travel on.
