Very nice beach with attentive life guards. Free Street parking, too. Great spot for a day trip. It was not crowded during the week. We went on a Thursday.

This a perfect little spot for locals who just want some time at the beach. There are no tag requirements and it's not crowded in the middle of the week. There is also no boardwalk so there is less attraction for the tourists. They do have lifeguards on duty so you can swim and play in the ocean as well.

Average Jersey Beach, its a public beach so you don't need tags. Good place to take the family for a little beach day. There's no boardwalk but right down the road is Sea Isle and its shops, the other way is Ocean City.

The beach is deep enough even at high tide, to hold plenty of people while spaced comfortably and safely. You may even see the occasional porpoise close to the shoreline. Town is quaint with just a few shops and restaurants. If you want more than the simple life with a fine beach you'd have to go elsewhere like Ocean city and Wildwood.

Directly, no. If you get on there early in the morning and late in the day, there isn't much of a fuss. You can't bring your dog on to the beach while other beach goers are enjoying the beach. Also in the off-season it's really not a big deal.
Don't need them for this section of beach....Whale beach is free no tags needed
