This bridge is pretty cool. People put locks on the cables. There are over 150 combination locks,regular padlocks and some very unique locks. Some have initials etched on the locks,some have complete names. It's a beautiful view of the ocean from there too. People like to take their kids to Pudding Creek below the bridge. The water is warmer than the ocean. From the south side of the bridge,there is some history about the bridge that you can read. It's interesting.

i think not. The river is very low and gungy this year, but someone might know more. The Big river probably would be better for fishing.... Monterey village.

Can I assess this beach on a segway (for disabled person)? If not are there any beaches close by that have a flat access from the parking area?

You can drive right to the beach. There is a walking path that starts intown and follows up north to west port. Great for the segway!!!
