It was delicious and the people are friendly. I would definitely go back again. The hot dumplings was really good. We ordered twice. The herbal tea was really good too! Try it out! They have many different types of hot herbal tea that helps like sleeping, heart care, thirsty and many more.

Food is fine, not bad. The reason for the 2-stars is for the ketchup. Why on earth a vegan place which is supposed to be a "healthier" cuisine is giving customers a ketchup with high fructose corn syrup! I received it with my plant based burger and fries.

I founded this place about 10 years ago. Everytime I come to L.A. I make a point to visit several times during my 5 or 6 day stay. The owner use to make exceptions for me and deliver food and juices to my son weekly. I paid for this service and it was beneficial for my son to eat healthy. If you are in LA./Culver City, you must visit the Vegan Joint. Its a bit pricey but the food is good.

Eating at this place is not a great experience. Lots of flies outdoors indicating not much outdoor cleanliness. The food is not anything to write home about, and the quality of the food is not great either. Coffee consistently has grounds in it and isn’t fresh. Presentation of the food is lacking. Please see pictures. A request for adding mushrooms to tofu scramble was met with resistance and statements such as (no customizations; all pre-made no changes). The staff is not friendly but also not mean. They just seem to not care at all if you’re there. Small talk and conversation with the staff here you can tell they’re not interested and give the vibe (what do you want to eat, pay, leave, thank your for your donation!) good luck on asking what’s a tasty dish... on top of that, I didn’t feel great eating what ate. It didn’t satisfy any feelings of “wow. That was nutritious/delicious and I’m glad I ate here”. The two times I ate here during Covid, I ended up getting at mother meal at another restaurant due to my dissatisfaction. Nothing salacious about these meals.
