Saddleback Church is the Best God experience ever! I used to live in Trabuco Canyon, so I started attending the Lake Forest Campus (which at the time was the only campus) and we were actually in a big white tent in the middle of the parking lot..who remembers that?? . Pastor Rick was also sporting a mustache 😊... and He and His beautiful wide Kay looked like teenagers!!! Anyway this has been my Church for 26+ yrs! I have been there for the building campaigns, went on Mission trips with our Beloved Pastor Steve, seen my children grow to love Jesus through the wonderful Childrens Ministry, ( and Pastor Doug Fields) however I moved to Florida but still attended Saddleback online Pre-Covid! It’s like God in His infinite wisdom allowed us to be set up and ready to continue “REACHING ONE MORE FOR JESUS ” during COVID! I am humbled and Grateful for me and my family to call Saddleback Our Home! I am Grateful for what this wonderful Church has meant to us, and how God continues to reach and touch people through them! This is the Church if you really want to be the” hands and feet of Jesus “ himself! As pastor Rick says “pray that dangerous prayer ... use me, and the Lord will wear you out, but you will NEVER know such Joy or grow so much than in that Journey”! I continue to be humbled by my Church and all their locations... “REACHING ONE MORE FOR JESUS”. I would just like to comment on the person that complained about the level of sound coming from the music 🎶 team! If you pull your Bible out and read about what it WILL be like in heaven... the instruments they chose to describe Heaven ARE LOUD! “ clashing cymbals, drums🪘, trumpet 🎺 “..... ALL VERY LOUD INSTRUMENTS! Please prepare for it because this is what will be going on in Heaven! Worshipping God in Heaven sounds like what Worshipping God on Earth 🌍 @ Saddleback Church is like....Just a thought.. no disrespect intended🙏🏽 May God continue to Bless you All until the day we are are-United with our Lord and Savior JesusChrist to Live Forever in Peace ☮️ and Love 💕 with HIM! The people were friendly, the sermon was interesting enough, but the volume level on the "worship" was so over-the-top loud that I will not be attending a second time. Ever. And I'm not just talking preference here. Wearing earplugs would accomplish nothing, as the bass was so intense that I felt it vibrate in every bone in my body the the point that it took every ounce of willpower not to throw up on the person sitting in front of me. If I hadn't been there with my friend, I would have walked out. I feel closer to God sitting in the park BY MYSELF than going to a "church" like this. I pray God hold the leadership accountable for every gullible person who has their hearing permanently damaged by this nonsense. In Jesus Name.
