Antonia was very informative, professional and knowledgeable during the entire process. She made sure all our questions/concerns were addressed and understood. She walked us throughout the entire process and made sure we were completely satisfied. The level of professionalism, and most of all compassion is not easy to find or come across is not easy to find in these circumstances. It is unfortunate that we had to meet her in these circumstances. Yet, we are great full and thank full for her and the help she provided.

Just buried my dad and the funeral assistant (can't remember his name but was told he was a deacon and when we called to ask for his name the lady we spoke to did not want to provide his name) we had was so unprofessional. There were flowers outside getting wilted in the hot sun waiting over 1 hour to be taken in (we had family members that brought the flowers in). He slammed the door in multiple peoples faces and tried shutting our service down one whole hour early dispite the fact that the person they were bringing in to read the rosary was 45 minutes late and never showed up (we had to ask one of our guest to read the rosary). He tried closing the casket on us as we were trying to say our final goodbye and closed and locked not only the doors to the mortuary but the gate outside as well. He was more focused on the people that were outside in the parking lot instead of the grieving family inside. He really needs an etiquette class on how to deal with people that are grieving or maybe an entirely new job all together. He made all our guests very uncomfortable, everyone he interacted with had nothing nice to say about him. We live in Wilmington and have been coming here over 30 years. We never had any issue when Lorrie was running things. We would not recommend anymore unfortunately. There were several issues regarding the burial as well but all in all you get the jist overall bad experience more so because this was the facility my dad requested to have services at.

Came here for my aunt’s funeral, and was greatly impressed. They were polite and amiable the entire time, were extremely understanding and cooperative with our needs, and took care of us the entire time like we were family, ensuring we had water and fans and extra time to get through our grieving. They made this hard day a lot easier, and I’m greatly appreciative of what they did.

Dealing with the loss of out mother has not been easy. My siblings and I were devastated and we feel blessed to have found Funeraria Del Angel. A journey to prepare the funeral services for your loved touches the most sensitive part of our hearts yet Antonia was amazingly helpful. She guided us through this new process step by step and had compassion, good advise and was very professional. Thank you for making a difference. I would recommend you with my eyes closed.
