Excellent small FREE garden for an afternoon walk. This is more of a woodland type garden. The grounds are well tended. Staff are friendly. Nice bathrooms.

Excellent place to visit. It's totally FREE. Very well manicured.

Beautiful garden for a peaceful stroll. Very few people there so it was easy to take a quiet, slow walk or a quick speed walk. The flowers and trees are marked so correct identification of the flora is made easy. The house is closed to the public snd only available for private events. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and well maintained. The grounds are not huge so it’s probably not somewhere you will spend the whole day but it is nice place for a bit of nature bathing with a decent amount of privacy and solitude if you so desire.

What a hidden gem of a place! Gorgeous and well maintained grounds. No fee to visit either!

The parking lot is small and close to the entrance. It is possible to walk short distances and then sit down....especially if you walk to the left. It is a lovely property.
Hello. No, Stoneleigh (neither the Main House nor the grounds) are available to rent at this time. The organization is looking into this possibility but there are tax implications.
Stoneleigh is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Closed Thanksgiving day and Christmas day. Open on New Year's day.
The emphasis is on the gardens at Stoneleigh (after all, it's a public garden) so the Main House is closed to visitors unless you book a group tour, which includes the grounds and the house. Groups must include a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 guests. A fee of $15/person ($150 minimum) applies. Please note that tours have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dogs are not permitted at Stoneleigh unless they are service animals.
No, the garden is always free to visit for everyone. Natural Lands (the nonprofit that owns and manages Stoneleigh) is membership supported, so consider becoming a member or making a donation. natlands.org/support
