I moved here back in 2018 with my husband and we absolutely loved it. There is so much green and my neighbors were the best. We were all very considerate with one another. Eddie showed us around the complex and was very kind. Then I stopped seeing him in the office which most likely he left. My husband and I were still enjoying living here. Fast forward to 2020 is when it started to go downhill for us. Someone tried breaking into my car. I didn’t feel secure anymore. Canyon ridge apartments do NOT have security at all. Every time I would go out to pick up something from my car or take out the trash I would take my dog with me because I would see some junkies near the dumpster area smoking crack.I’ve also noticed a homeless van with people living in it and leaving garbage all over the parking lot. Or sometimes sketchy people driving by slowly and just glare at you if you turn your head towards them. Some people would park in the canyon ridge parking spots and walk across the other apartment complex! Beyond nightmare. Also what is that strip of cars parked on the side near the tennis court ??!Every time I would try to pull out of the parking lot those cars would block my view ! Ugh When the pandemic hit, I started working from home and I got a notice that my car had to be moved or it will get towed. I told Christie who worked there I didn’t move my car because I was working from home. She accused me of lying and to show her proof that the car was still under some sort of registration. Beyond ridiculous. Then my neighbors told me their cars got broken into as well!! Sadly … everything got worse ! Maintenance was bad… one thing after another broke down. The door locks didn’t work, we struggled opening/closing the door and had to push the door knob up every time ! The bathroom lock didn’t work, it was also jammed. A nasty yellow leak started dripping in the bathroom, the bath tub had a crack in the middle. We would call and call the office and nobody would pick up. Their website didn’t work. The staff would be hiding at canyon crest ! They would ignore our calls and when we would go to the office in person they will be sitting there. We didn’t want to move … we just wanted these things to get fixed … then the AC went down during the summer. Our apartment hit 97 degrees. My husband and I were beyond miserable. We called and called and nothing. We went to Canyon Crest (because nobody was ever in the canyon ridge office) and sure enough… staff was right there. They gave us a BROKEN portable AC DAYS after complaining. We had to go to the office twice to ask about the portable AC. Maintenance fixed the AC but then it broke down again. By that time we already found another place to live so we moved out. I do feel homesick and miss my neighbors, the comfort I had, if maintenance and the office staff were on top of everything we would have never moved out. It was our first little home when we got married. I hope canyon ridge does get it together with their management. Good management makes such a difference.

Tan. Same issues here. Nothing never happens. They even tow your car if it's dirty. More than 1000$ to get back. No one in the office, maintenance just make promises...etc. This is a joke. I would like to speak someone from Greystar higher management.

Do not lease here. The leasing process was pleasant enough but that was the only pleasant experience. The complex has been extremely dirty and I’m not sure if they have ever cleaned the walkways and the stairs. I’m August 2020 my apartments AC unit was not working well so I contacted maintenance who took 2 days to arrive and managed to completely break the AC and they had to replace the entire AC unit but that took them over a week to get done and the temperature inside my apartment was 94-97F throughout the week. Their online portal to pay rent constantly doesn’t work and is extremely unreliable. Furthermore the leasing manager is extremely unprofessional and will constantly make false promises to get you to hang up the phone. This will only happen if you can manage to get anyone on the phone. No one is ever in the leasing office. It is always locked and no one picks up the phone. When someone does most of the time it’s routed to Canyon Crest (which is also part of the same group) and they just say this is canyon crest and we should contact canyon ridge instead. TLDR. Management never available by phone or in person. Make it hard to pay rent. Take extremely long times to perform any maintenance work. The actual complex is disgusting and is never cleaned.

The move in was all good with the old management employees, until a new batch came in and when we have an issues like cracked toilet bowl, carpet no longer attached to the floor after 3 years until now it nothing is not replaced yet. Kristie the assistant manager is rude to the renters and love making promises. Once you go to the office and brought out issues she will not open the door for you instead she will hide from you, my wife try calling her instead and she denied it, when my wife saw her ran in the other room.

Questions & Answers

How can I get a hold of the management company? The current/new leasing individuals in the office, Ashley & Christy(?), are not very helpful, extremely rude & abrupt. We've lived here for 8, 9 or more years w/o a problem, until now.

Why

In regards to our water, sewer, etc. billing, aren't we supposed to get a bill of some sort informing us how much is due? We used to get one in the mail from Conserve. Up until this Sept 1 rent payment on the Domuso site, only the base rent was
