I can’t think of a more negligent service experience than Oakdale. Unfortunate since both of my Parents are now buried there. No calls back. Our first 2 original counselors have left. Nobody will give me an update on my Dad’s headstone. Please someone! Call me back! All I get is an answering service! So unprofessional.

My mother passed away on May 28, 2021, and was buried in late July. The experience I had this time around here and Oakdale was very disappointing. Arraigning the services with the person we were assigned to was difficult in it's self. After a year of her passing and multiple phone calls to the lady in charge of my mom‘s case or burial counselor, she still does not have her stone I was told because of Covid it was coming from China and they said India many other friends had had family members pass away and their stones were put on within months of the burial and I found this out I called again I was told eight weeks after a year that my mom had been buried this time we get here eight weeks went by and nothing. I sent emails and text messages to the lady in charge of my mom‘s burial with no replacement after pressure from the family I decided to call the Manager who informed me that yes it was taking a long time but to me, a year is unacceptable. Well after my phone call within four days my mom's stone miraculously was received and put in on the day they told me it was they were going to receive it I don’t understand why this took so long I have not gotten a response an explanation of why. When a loved one passes the last thing you wanna do is argue with people that are supposed to be helping you do your time of grief. I hope someone from Oakdale reads just called me and give me a valid explanation of why this took so long. The one positive thing an experience was the counselors in the chapel and the counselor the day of the burial when we put my mom in the ground but the people in the office horrible experience for me.

Do not work with Maricela Castro. She is unprofessional, unorganized and does not know what she is doing. I gave 2 stars bc a manager did call me and I was able to get my concerns addressed by another employee (Mary Macias) quickly and she was knowledgeable, professional and kind. My concern here is that I told the manager of all of the unacceptable things that Maricela did while working with me and she didn’t apologize or hold her accountable- so be careful who you work with Because they can share your personal information with strangers “by mistake”, take 5 months to answer your questions, try and charge you for something that doesn’t need to be done or paid for if you don’t want to! And never know anything about your case or how things should be done.

3 years ago the prices was flexibles; but, now and with the situation lived by Covid 19 maybe everything should be high.
I suggest that you either call them at the phone number listed here, go to the office in person and ask one of the morticians, or visit their website for more information.
Dec. 13 to Jan. 8
Dec 13 through Jan 8th.
Yes, but you have to rent their extra room with tables and chairs.
Hello Lidia, with the variety of options we have available for headstone we encourage you to call our location directly and speak with one of our helpful service counselors.

Great place everybody respects you and your loved one who is there and relaxing to your mind and to pray to the Jesus Christ☺ peacefully. And may you be blessed thanks
Ask at the front office
Hello and I'm sorry for replying back so late but to be honest , I don't know exactly what regulations they have
No but it would be a good idea to ask the cemetery if they can help you out in that department
Ask the cemetery how you can transfer 2 plots after u sell them and they will tell you what needs to be done.
I'd check their main office. It's by the main entrance.
After Wednesday because the workers pick up all the flowers on Wednesday.
I would like to take flowers for my parents Today, oWhen.do you pick up decorations flowers ?
Yes on Facebook just sign an authorization form speak with your counselor
During visit to lawn? During service? Ive seen small dogs early mornings but on the lawn?
My understanding is, everything gets cleared off every Wednesday morning.
Yes. It's a fair price because they have the crematory there.
Personnel remove all floral decorations within a week, so allow the timing accordingly.
Generally No Pets are allowed but visitors ignore the sign stating such at the South entrance to the park off Grand & Juanita. If you insist on bringing your pet you must keep them leashed and preferably in your vehicle. The coyotes are afraid of humans though they don't seem to be afraid of me. A couple of times during the summer I was able to walk up to a couple of them as they rested on the middle lawn.
Nikki, we ask that you contact our office and speak to one of our service councelors if you are looking for a specific resting place of a loved one.
We are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm But the park is open until nightfall.
