This is the best knife shop ever. It had always been a place where you could spend hours looking at knives and talking to Joe Castello. Joe is a great guy with a big hart and has the best stories. He has lived a great life and this store will be missed forever when it is gone. He has done so much to help so many people in our community. He will always be greatly appreciated. It is never a dull moment when visiting Joe. Joe has been selling knives since before Most knife manufactures of today even existed. Visiting Joe will always teach you things about the knife industry that most people never knew. Joe Castello only deserves 5 star reviews only.

Too aggressive and hostile. I came to this shop looking for ammo. A simply asked if he had some and he started to act aggressive with me as if I disrespected him somehow. While i was showing him the at most respect. I quickly left because i knew he was about to yell at me for asking if he had certain ammo in stock.

Well I was told this man would be able to tell me more about my Black Powder Hawkins than Hawkins him self. I walked out 6hr maybe more with my Hawkins ready to go and a Pennsylvania long rifle and all the means to fare away. They dont make these type of me many more. Im proud to have the honor being able to talk to Jim and ask him questions that have be for 39 years waiting for the man who could tell me! Your comrade Ryan M. I've been shopping here for over 30 years and can't understand why some people give this place bad reviews. Yes, Joe has a gruff exterior, but he has a heart of gold. You can talk knives or guns with him all day long and always come away with learning something new. At almost 90 he has the experience and knowledge of an encyclopedia. I am a knife collector and Joe will match or come close to most internet prices. He does not carry clones or cheap "gas station" blades. I've always had a great experience every time I walk in.
