I moved here three years ago and it used to be great before new management took over. Under the new management compary, Greystar, the upkeep of the property and units has gone down, and so has management's transparency and communication with residents. While units are rent controlled, management tries to nickel and dime residents wherever they can by charging new fees. Utility fees are also sky high, doubling almost every year, and higher than anywhere else in Livermore that I know of.

Located between the Downtown shopping district and the wineries, this complex is also close to major employers like the Labs, City of Livermore, and LARPD, among others. The property is spacious with units all facing a courtyard with trees and lots of plants and flowers. Amenities include a gym, swimming pool, jaccuzi, and basketball court. Living at The Arbors is made even more pleasant with Covid compliant events and apps (Cobu and Community Rewards) to connect residents and make living more fun. The office and maintenance staff are also very responsive, professional, and courteous. I have lived here for more than 12 years and know that there are other residents who have also lived here longer. It is such a great community to live in and a place I am proud to call home.

We lived here for 6 months. We were moving from Washington DC to Northern California. We were having trouble looking for a place that accepted our dog and provided a short-term lease. Camille was very helpful throughout the whole process and made moving in easy. The maintenance guys are friendly and quick to respond. Camille and the rest of management are very reasonable when it came to issues. The apartment complex is pretty relaxed. Great place if you have kids; I always saw different groups playing together in the playground. Pool and Jacuzzi combo is nice and tennis court is almost always open. There is so much parking. Most spots are open if you have guests over. The apartment itself was decent. Nothing special but also nothing to complain about. I got all of my security and pet deposit back. Maybe it was because of the short lease, nothing was damaged or broken. I think as long as you keep it in great shape, you'll get your money back.

I lived there in a single bedroom apartment for about eight months. The apartment was nice and freshly remodeled. My neighbors were quiet. The landlords were friendly. They worked with me when I wanted to move out in the middle of a month and returned a fair portion of the security deposit.
