Love the WM big green machines and their professional driver operators. Love the fact that the big green machines have diesel engines that run on clean natural gas. Love the efficiency of the big green machines and how quickly they can make their way up and down the street emptying their designated trash bins. Love the fact that WM plums their landfill to capture methane gas that is part of the decomposition process of the landfill, and then utilize the methane gas to drive electricity generating generators. Love the WM Company culture of customer service, professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness. Love the WM accommodation of large loads that will not fit in the normal trash bin.

I have been using WM for many years now. I have 3 containers - a small sized trash container, a medium sized recycle container, and a large sized yard waste container. I recently learnt by accident that i am being billed for a medium sized trash container for the last 3 years. The difference in price is $6/month so I have paid around $216 in error. Not a big deal but quite annoying. I thought just like anywhere else once I let them know the mistake they will surely rectify it and reimburse me whats owes to me. And this is where things go south! Incredibly no one believes me! They say our records show you have a medium sized trash can. Well, that’s wrong. I request them to come to my house and check but nope they won’t do that. They tell me to check pictures of service pickups and guess what? The containers on MY service pick ups and those of my neighbors opposite the road (who use a medium sized trash container). So someone messed up and got the wrong house. That should end it right? Well, no cause no one cares. I have called 6-7 times now and everytime have to explain the whole story to a new guy who never has a solution. Finally got transferred to some top guy in billing named Charles who was the rudest person I have ever talked to. He pretty much accused me of lying. Am I really insane to waste all my time and energy and fight about something as trivial as this if it wasn’t true? Still hoping for a resolution on this. Hopefully posting this here gets someone’s attention. I swear I will donate the refund to charity if I ever get it. It’s not about the damn money. Its just driving me nuts that this isn’t being taken care of.

The trash prices went up year over year without explanation. Our City changed contracts to a different company and NOW Waste Management is all concerned as to why. NOW they are sending out customer surveys and trying to get our opinion of their service. It wasn't till they lost the contract did they be come concerned. Atlas, our new company, has reported charging us about half what WM was charging.

Waste management has provided garbage collection service to Thousand Oaks for the 25 years that I've lived here. The service is always on time, drivers are friendly and courteous,. Customer service reminders are sent out when there will be a delay in service. Large item pick-ups can be scheduled. In short no complaints means that they are doing their job. I don't have to worry.

I had my truck bed full of broken down boxes the week the Simi Valley Recycling Center closed. I went to WM and they directed me to a bin on their property for cardboard and dropped it in. I’d inquire with them. It was no charge for me.
They haven't. Changed. My pick up schedule ,there were no notices in local paper. Or on my bill , My pick up day stayed the same
I received a letter,on my bill that read mybtrash would be one day later check your bill. Also,local newspaoer Had same Notice.

You should probably contact Simi landfill otherwise I have seen the bins that waste management. Drops. At your curbsid maybe that would be. An option for you. Contact them and ask.
I do not. But I know of them my. Mom has this. I believe you can call,them. 9am -4 pm to get the correct answers you Need. They are friendly and helpful.

Tony This really isn't a question for me try contacting your refuse company I know mine has what they call bulky item pick up allowed 1 time 1 item a year call them and ask you should have information on your bill as well.

Well I have used many different refuse companies through the past years and any time I had a missing cart broken wheel. Broken sides lid missing. Contacting any of those companies was always a positive response and resolved usually within a week of normal pick up day . Check your bill for a phone number and your information or on the side or top of the cart / can. If you have another one. Like green waste or recycling if not check your neighbors can of and Contact your company I'd bet you will get a great resolution. And in a timely matter
