Haven't been here in a couple years and decided to stop in for a quick bite while doing errands. I ordered the California Grilled cheese which came with onions, tomatoes and Avocado. There was no avocado in it. My husband ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. It came a couple minutes after his lunch order arrived. He ordered fish & chips for lunch, it was too oily and it did not look an appetizing golden brown but the color looked like how leaving it in a fryer too long but just before burning looks.

Love love love Manalapan Diner!!! Service always great and very friendly!!!! The avocado toast is the best around and it certainly is one of my favorites there…… also the soups are always delicious too! My mom and I come in frequently and don’t ever have a complaint… if I could give it 10 stars I would!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Been here plenty of times but today was the worst I order mozzarella sticks. We get giant logs of mozzarella still cold on the inside. Avocado toast. Do not bother. What a joke. I got soft bread, 1/2 avocado sliced on one slice and my over easy egg fully cooked, and cold plopped on the other slice of bread. That was it. She asked if I wanted the red pepper and I’m thinking we’ll of course. That’s on the menu description 🤷‍♀️ So I get red pepper flakes in a cup of OIL What am I supposed to do with that? It’s so easy to make if you put any effort into it AT ALL If you are going to try to be innovative with what you serve, please try to serve it correctly and above and beyond because guess what? My entire bill was $64 with tip. If you think I’ll be back for a mess like that again, you’d be very wrong.
