Loma Linda BMC in Murrieta, CA. My daughter is a junior. When we booked the first appointment, they said it would be an evaluation on my daughter on the first visit, then they would decide who will be her therapist for the further visits. We were booked to be seen by Sandra McAulliffle, LMFT on 12/09/2021. But it was changed to Leticia Ruiz, LMFT without a notice. Our first visit was virtual on Zoom. Leticia Ruiz, LMFT asked my daughter lots of questions during that hour. At the end, she said she would follow up with us. THAT'S IT! Ever since we have heard NOTHING from her, or anyone from Loma Linda. And I was charged $150 and paid out of pocket for that visit. I finally called the center on 01/20/2022, they told me it's shown all the visits scheduled for my daughter were cancelled. But NO body even notified us or explained anything to us. I asked if at least I could get a report of the evaluation for my daughter, then I submitted an Authorization of Release form per their request. But my request was denied by the lead Clinical Therapist Alexandra Shirozono, LMFT on 02/03/2022. What a bad, irresponsible therapist and facility they are!! I paid $150, had my daughter spent an hour interviewed and answered all the questions, then GOT NOTHING! NOTHING! I so regretted that I chose them in the first place, wasted money and time, and did not get any help!

Had been exposed to a tremendous about of trauma during my whole life. Started to be unable to work, talk with anyone, or most importantly provide the support and mindset for my family. Was at a very scary point in my life and knew I needed professional help. I really think that I had a nervous breakdown, however, the staff never mentioned these words. I felt extremely safe there and experienced staff assisted me so much. At first I was very scared about being in an inpatient program. Many of the patients were severe and were struggling with a variety of serious illnesses. Intake was a lengthy procedure, however, I was able to share everything in my life which had brought me there. I felt that this facility was my last chance in solving my issues. I had never gone through the practices which were taken before I entered the facility. Had never been arrested or in jail, but was told that these requirements were very similar. I felt that if they were going to help me, it wasn’t a problem. The drs., nurses and counselors were extremely supportive. I attended every meeting because I wanted to get well. The referrals they gave me at the end of my stay, continued the work to keep me moving forward and staying healthy. Loma Linda helped me regain myself and keep moving me in a healthy direction.

I had a very positive experience at the LLBMC. Great staff, knowledgeable friendly and caring. The showers could be updated as well as the beds, however, you are not going to a luxury resort. You are entering rehab. I was in their pain track and can tell you that they have great alternative therapies to help you get control of your pair without dangerous narcotics. In response to one of the other reviews stating not to bring your loved ones in for treatment if they are gay. As a gay man I totally disagree. I was very nervous at first because I was worried about being treated differently because I am gay. That is completely not the case. I was treated great from the staff , counselors, nurses, doctors and other patients. They don't care about your sexual orientation. They are welcoming of anyone who needs help. Also, not all of the staff is seventh day adventists. Their staff is a mix of people just as their patients are a mix of peoples. Don't assume that you will be treated differently. It will only interfere with your recovery and you will regret it later when you realize that it was all in your head and you were worrying about the wrong things. Concentrate on getting healthy and don't let anyone or anything get in the way.

This place saved my daughters life. Dr. Johnson and his staff as well as the 24 hour unit 300 staff and nurses are amazing and gave a family out of options for our daughter diagnosed with schizophrenia, health options. Charm was absolutely an Angel that cares so much for her patients. After she was discharged she gave me a great outpatient facility for my daughter to continue her medication and receive life skills, independence and tools for her future living with a mental illness. Thank you so much, The Lauderdale's.

Yes I believe they do, at least in the Adolescents or Child unit. I assume it would be the same for the other units as well.
Pretty sure Medi-Cal covers it. At least from what I've seen, not totally sure though.
no
Need to call and find out what the visiting hours are. They are different between chemical dependency and psych hold
He will be well taken care of! Great place to get clean and sober, but it only works if you want it too.
You can reach out to whichever department you graduated from and ask if that's possible.
