Delicious, quick and affordable option to grab and go in the Hudson Yards area. We fed a family of 6 for under $65 which in NYC isn't that easy to do. Love the bacon cheese fries, shroom burger and smoke shack. If I'm honest I think their burgers are far better than their shakes but maybe we just got an over flavored batch. We tried the three new flavors (sprinkle cookie, Oreo funnel cake, chocolate churro) and the only one we actually drank was the Oreo funnel cake. Overall it didn't ruin the experience at all. We took everything to go back to our hotel room and it was all packaged great which is always a plus!

I usually love shake shack but this location needs a lot of improvement. I ordered hot honey fries with habanero Mayo and paid more than regular fries and I got regular fries. The mushroom burgers are delicious, but the buns aren't anything special and tend to arrive a bit squished. On the day we visited, fries were room temperature and a little limp and the drinks were watered down. I've had better experiences in the past at other locations, so I'll hope for better luck next time at this one.Joe, Thank you so much for the feedback! So why is it I'm unable to order a meal ahead of time through the website? I used to but the location isn't available anymore. The hike to the top floor is already 5 minutes walking fast but the wait to order in person is usually half an hour.

We’ll gladly accommodate a gluten-free diet at each Shake Shack upon request. Just ask the Shack team for assistance and they’ll be happy to help. Please reference our Allergen Information page before visiting. Here are a few suggestions for anyone with a gluten allergy: • Any burger can be ordered with a lettuce wrap, and most of our US Shacks offer gluten-free buns. Flat-top dogs can also be ordered with a lettuce wrap. • Our ‘Shroom Burger contains breadcrumbs, so it should be avoided. • Please do not order our fries. The oils in our fryers are filtered through the same equipment as our ‘Shroom Burgers. • Frozen custard should be ordered without the cone, and make sure to double-check the ingredients of the “Seasonal Shakes” with our cashier before ordering.

Our ‘Shroom Burger is a great meatless option, featuring a crisp-fried portobello mushroom stuffed with gruyere and cheddar cheese and topped with lettuce, tomatoes and ShackSauce. We’re also testing a new Veggie Shack at select locations. The Veggie Shack can also be made vegan if requested!

Unfortunately, many of our hot food items contain soy. Based on your allergy, you should not consume our fries, cheese, Shack Sauce or the ‘Shroom Burger.
