I start working on your new resume upon receipt of your payment. SoCalResumes accepts all major credit and debit cards. Our payment gateway is managed on a secure server. You can safely enter all personal information together with your payment card details (these are not stored on our servers, but instead encrypted by the financial gateway and the banks. When you purchase resume writing services, it's not like buying a household appliance. There is no middleman or retail mark ups to be discounted. Resume writing is a specialized, custom service that has taken countless years and training to hone.

I use your old resume, information gathered during our Resume Strategy Call, and any additional information such as specific jobs posted that you are targeting in order to create the most impactful resume for your goals. A scannable resume (or ATS-friendly resume) is a must when applying to jobs online. Many positions posted online receive hundreds, even thousands of applicants. Hiring managers simply do not have the time to go through each resume and select the top candidates they would like to interview. So, they rely on Applicant Tracking Systems, which parse pre-selected keywords or phrases that match their desired candidate to narrow down the applicant pool. A professional resume writer will know how to create your resume documents so that not only are they formatted for ATS systems, but are also visually impactful when they do reach the hands of a hiring manager.
Due to the nature of scheduling, I do not offer in-person appointments at this time. However, I have found through years of writing resumes and communicating with clients, the most effective way is for both parties to collaborate either by phone.
My process is designed to be efficient, yet still personalized. Once I receive your order, I will reach out to you asap to schedule your Resume Strategy Call. You will also provide your current resume and links to any job openings you are pursuing at this stage. This information will help in figuring out to make your resume more effective. Upon completing the Strategy Call, I will begin crafting your new documents, collaborating with you along the way with any questions. Your completed resume will be emailed to you in MS Word. When you receive and review your new resume, you have up to 2 revisions within a 7-day period.

Great question! We do not offer "walk-in" service due to our writers busy creating resumes or conducting strategy sessions via phone, in person, or video chat with clients. We DO offer in-person resume strategy sessions by appointment though at our Temecula office.
