A pleasant surprise. When you walk in you are greeted by tiny flickering candle lights at every table, and dim receding lights to set the mood. Went here while waiting for our concert to open at Irving Plaza. If you have a more refined palette, go here for food and drinks. We accidentally went to the Irish pub across the street and that was a mistake. The headless horseman has a really nice selection of spirits and a generous size food portion. We ordered one burger to split between 2. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. The crowd is also diverse, from foreigners from Cambridge to local musicians and attorneys. This place is a real NY vibe.

Yikes. Came in hungry and asked for the biggest appetizer. Bartender responded I could get "whatever you want." I said yes, but which appetizer had a larger portion? He repeated "whatever you want."
