Always a great experience when you come here for dinner. Seating downstairs in the wine cellar is always nice when with a bigger group. There is a reason this place has been here so long — great service and food!

Try closer to 3rd or 4th Ave if you can't find a spot. The food is worth it!
Your date will enjoy this place if they like quiet romantic atmosphere with great cusine and dim lights. (Mine did not like it and we ended up in a flashy club in Manhattan)
Casual. The restaurant has a few small rooms with tables. It is very nice and cozy inside, nothing fancy... Elegant, cozy, family owned restaurant with delicious food and good service.
