Man!!!! What can I say about Maria and her team!! Sheri was so so sweet and I enjoyed our waiting room discussions and looked forward to seeing her smiling face greet me. Maria is exceptional!!! She is amazing and so very knowledgeable its unbelievable. Her staff, students and the other midwives are such a pleasure to see at every visit. I had the pleasure of having Maria as my midwife for my 4th birth(VBAC) along with Becky. Becky was so awesome during my labor and really helped me progress my labor. She knew what I needed to do and her tactics worked beautifully. It was such an amazing experience even when we decided to go to the hospital where Maria was the attending she made sure I had the birth I wanted and made sure that my birth plan was still followed. I was able to go straight to a hospital bed and did not have to wait in the waiting room to be triaged. As soon as I made it to my bed I had my baby and Maria was able to allow me to deliver the way I wanted too, all natural in a comfortable position!! I labored the majority of the time at the birthing center which is beautiful and has great ambiance and feels second only to home. Laboring in the birthing tub was such a relief and I was so glad to have that option. I have had other midwives but Maria out ranks them all with the quality of care provided. Even down to the financial department, Gladys who was sweet even when I had a million questions lol. If you choose Maria and the birthing center as your provider you are well on your way to the labor and delivery of your dreams!!

I had two babies with Maria at the natural birthplace. I had a wonderful experience both times. Maria takes the time to talk with you and to explain things. She is very well educated and informed. I felt very confident in her care. The staff are friendly and the environment welcoming. It is a very peaceful place to receive prenatal care and have your baby. I highly recommend this birth center!

I am so grateful for The Natural Birth Place, Maria and her team! We have Kaiser insurance but they don’t cover an out of hospital birth, which is truly crazy, but the care I got and continue to get with Maria and her team of incredibly sweet midwives has been well beyond anything Kaiser would consider care. My husband and I learned so much this time around it makes us both wish we had known about this place with our first two. Maria and her midwives genuinely care about the mothers, babies and fathers under their care and instruction. With my first 2 children I tore so bad because of the way the hospital rushes you, my recovery was difficult and a bit depressing. Completely different this time! No tearing and my recovery has been so great that I actually get to enjoy my time with baby. I’m 4 weeks out from giving birth, feeling great and they are still looking after me with all diligence. They give expert support and advice for nursing as well and they never make you feel like you have asked too many questions or like you are taking too much of their time❤️ My boys were and are able to come with me to all my appointments which is wonderful and means I don’t need to find a babysitter like I do with Kaiser appointments. My husband and I were a little hesitant at the beginning because of the cost but I cannot express how worth it it was. I was considered a high risk pregnancy and my husband was so impressed with the care from the team at the birthing center that he insisted we continue no matter the cost and I’m so glad for it. The experience was priceless. If you are considering an out of hospital birth feel confident knowing you are in the best hands possible. Maria knows her stuff and passes on her wisdom and knowledge to her patients. We have loved it so much that I wish Maria could be my primary care physician. I would recommend the Natural Birth Place to anyone and everyone I know who is expecting a baby. You won’t be disappointed!

The Natural Birth Place is truly a gem. Maria King her her team are by far the most caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with in the medical field. We were with Maria from 5 weeks through birth. Her prenatal care is top notch. She spends a vast amount of time with you at each appointment ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and most of all feel like family. You always feel supported in and out of the office. Through birth and postpartum Maria, Vanessa, and Michelle all gave 100% to help our family through this beautiful journey.
