Would have gave 5 stars but price was a bit high. Im growing out the top of my hair and only had the sides cut. Sometimes I'm charged for a full price cut.

I have been getting my hair cut at Sports Clips locations in Orange County for 10+ years and have always had a good experience. Today, I checked in online with an arrival time of 10:30am. As I was driving, I received a text saying I was on deck. 5 minutes later, I was in the building and entered my phone number on their tablet at the front counter and sat in the waiting area. One stylist was in the building, starting a hair cut for another gentleman. She did not acknowledge me or say anything at all. Granted, she was just starting a hair cut on a customer, but I still expected a simple "hello." After sitting for 5 minutes, a second employee walked in and clocked in on the computer that was directly in front of me, 6 feet away. She did not say a word to me either. She put her personal items in the back of the store and then started cleaning her work station. I figured I would be called back in a couple of minutes. However, after cleaning her work station for a few minutes, she went into the back of the store again. She came back to her station a few minutes later and I thought for sure she would ask me to come to her station or even say hello. Instead, she pulls out a vacuum and starts vacuuming her station as well as the station of the other stylist who had just finished cutting her client's hair and was now in the back, shampooing his hair. After she was done vacuuming, I thought for sure I would be asked to come back to begin my hair cut. That did not happen and she disappeared back into the back of the store, again. A third employee then entered the store and clocked in at the same location, 6 feet in front of me. She did not say hello or acknowledge me either. By this time, it had been 25 minutes of me sitting and waiting. 25 minutes after the time I was to be at the store. I could not wait any longer as I had a work meeting to attend. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I will no longer be going to Sports Clips in Foothill Ranch. I only gave a 1 star rating because it would not allow me to give a 0 star rating. 0 would match the amount of times I was acknowledged in 25 minutes.

Ask for Trina! She's great. Very comforting and made the experience very satisfying! Plus, I got a great new cut. Perfect. And to save more money, you can get the exact same products at Aldo for a much better price. I'm usually so excited to face the world in my new cut that whatever they offer I accept. I don't know about others, though, but I can't throw money around like it's gonna last forever. So, I have to remember to buy my hair products at Aldo.
