The office is very nice and the receptionists are exceptional. Dr. Nixon is excellent ! My mother is 90 and obviously hard of hearing. The Dr explains everything concisely and patiently. He's very gentle and shows great respect to his elderly patients

Dr. Nixon is extremely knowledgeable, patient, personable and caring. I'm very happy working with him and other than the cost of parking, have nothing negative to say about my experiences at SoCal Hearing West Valley.

An easy appointment to order and be trained in the use of my new hearing aids. Follow up was professional to link my devices with my cellphone. I highly recommend SoCal Hearing located in the west valley. Thank you for improving the quality to my life!

Took my 90 year old grandfather here for an evaluation of his hearing. The doctor and staff were very professional and informative. The doctor spent a lot of time with my grandfather explaining his options and made sure he understood everything. I highly recommend Dr. Leiterman.

How often should I get a hearing test?

Just like an annual physical, you should get regular hearing tests every 1 to 3 years. If you are exposed to loud noise frequently or work in a field where noise is common, you should err on the side of getting tested more frequently. If you notice any hearing loss, schedule a test immediately. Untreated hearing loss can lead to other health problems. It's simple and painless and there's really no reason not to do it.
