I filed a review and complaint about this property with the BBB under the property management name, Gates Hudson on 12/30/2019. The name the review would be under is “Tori S” for anyone who would like to read about my experience. Before I took this action, I gave them 7 months to fix their wrong doings. During the duration of these 7 months, several more wrong doings on their part occurred. Including listing the unit I’ve been in for four years as vacant and letting a contractor come into my home without any notice and completely unannounced while I was indecent and sleeping. I’ve never seen this man before and I am half undressed. I was in fear for my life. They put myself and their contractor in danger and they don’t care about that or the fact they violated my rights as a WV resident by doing this. But it doesn’t stop there. Unfortunately, google reviews has a character limit or I’d list everything like I did with the BBB. My complaint was sent to Gates Hudson on 01/08 for a response in regard to my complaint. I have yet to receive one. However I received a response from the GM, Tiffany on 01/22/2020 (who knew about these wrong doings 7 months ago way before my review) on my review to follow up with her. I followed up with her on 01/23/2020. I have yet to receive a response. I have lived here for four years and never had any issues until Gates Hudson took over and renamed the property Linden at Martinsburg in early 2019. I paid less and was treated better with the previous property management. Now, you pay more and don’t even get the bare minimum. I hate sounding like a Karen, but I have been so kind and patient for several months and they just don’t care.
