THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY DOG! My dog had got out from our fenced in yard and we didn’t know. We live across the street from common sense. So with that being said it’s one of the first places we went. My girl friend was asking at the clinic if they had seen her or anyone had brought her in they told her no. She gave the a detailed description of what she looked like and told them she was chipped. While she was doing that I was going to all the neighbors houses. I stopped and the neighbors on the other side of the tree line. He said she came over there and he took her to common sense. We went back to common sense and once we told them he said he dropped her off they changed their ton and let us In to the shelter. we walk back to the room with the cages not the kennels AND THERE IS OUR DOG!!!! we called the company that deals with the chip and we were in formed that COMMON SENSE DID CALL THEM AND THEY WERE GIVEN OUR INFORMATION!!!!! Beware!!!!

I love this place. It's a shelter and they try their best with limited resources, there are countless animals that need help and these guys are there everyday doing there part.

We have adopted 3 cats from CSA- the care they were given in the shelter was amazing. The cats are wonderful companions. We are very grateful for the vet and staff.

We found a beautiful puppy whose name was Jimmy and we have renamed him Sheldon. He is a wonderful dog and was well cared for. The staff was wonderful and truly cared about our needs. If anyone wants to find a forever friend I highly recommend Common Sense for Animals.

Ty i called and asked then went to the website and filled out the application
Just call and find out. They are very good at working with people. Very nice caring folks.
Give them a call, I don't know how covid-19 has affected their rescue process
Yes you can just visit and pet cats
You should contact them directly so they can quickly answer your question
I hope this is a rescue and not someone breeding puppies. Don't we have enough in shelters?
Photo id, current vet info, and the adoption fee.
Dr amento is who I use there I highly recommend her..
This post doesn't make sense. Are there cats that need to be rescued? Didnt think CSA was that type of organization. I thought they just worked with rescues to help house them and find homes OR will take on unwanted pets finding them new homes. Other local organizations help with that.
The fee is also a charitable donation. Trying to adopt through an on line rescue is just as expensive. We went to common sense a few times before my kids were picked by Paco the kitty.
