This is the third time I've used Boise automotive. The first time I needed a fuel pump in my truck . Had it towed there in the morning and was able to pick it up that afternoon. Then I needed some break work done on my wife's car same thing dropped it off and was able to pick it up the next morning. This time the fuel pump went out in my truck at no fault of Boise automotive had it towed in this morning and just picked it up six hours later. I was expecting to at least pay labor on the fuel pump since the first pump was under warranty. But no they charged me no labor. This trip to the shop cost me nothing. What an amazing experience with a very respectful group of people. Thank you Jeff and Tony!

Boise Automotive Service is a trustworthy auto repair shop with honest technicians and staff. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else in Boise. Boise Automotive replaced my Subaru Outback's clutch when it suddenly failed and left me on the side of the road. They got my car in working order very expediently. About 6 months later, my vehicle began to have difficulty starting and was idling low. I initially took it to a different repair shop much closer to home where I was given a quote for over $1000 for work to be done, none of which seemed particularly relevant to the issues my car was having. That other auto shop also cleared all of the check engine codes. Skeptical of that shop's assessment, I contacted Boise Automotive for a second opinion. Without the benefit of the engine codes my car reported, they were still able to determine that a faulty EGR valve was the likely cause. They replaced it for less than half the price of the other shop's quote (which included no mention of an issue with the EGR valve). Boise Automotive still encouraged me to let them know if any issues remained after the EGR valve replacement, since they could not be sure what engine issues the codes might have indicated. The maintenance performed by Boise Automotive corrected all of the issues my vehicle had, and it is running great 3 months later.

New to Boise and the engine light on my 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty diesel came on Friday and I was scheduled to drive my family to Colorado on Monday. Took it in Thursday afternoon and got my truck back on Saturday! Many thanks to the staff who worked on Saturday even when they were not scheduled to. They had to replace the EGR valve, valve gasket, housing, housing gaskets, .... I had to pick it up after hours and they accepted payment over the phone and left a very nice note with the bill (which is never nice!) This is my first time doing business with them and I will certainly come back the next time I need to.
