Stopped by for sushi! Loved the usage of “local rice” but it was pretty subpar. I’ve had good grocery store sushi before. This rice is too vinegary, cold, stiff, but also mushy? Can’t put my finger on it but I would not recommend, given that it’s the same price of a roll at a pleasant sushi restaurant. Will probably get pasta or salad next time.

The sandwich makers often mess up special orders. I recommend triple checking that they understand your order. My experience during busy times and being the only person in line… repeated my order and get this “yeah I got it” reply. Still manage to mess up. They apologize profusely…still doesn’t replace time and food waste.

Amazing store and shopping experience. Love the fresh food options! I enjoy riding my bike here and sitting at the tables out front. Staff so friendly.

Nuggets is a upper scale grocery store compared to Safeway. However, there are some gems you can find at Nugget. The meats are almost always or most of the time cheaper than Safeway but definitely higher quality. My favorite aspects of Nuggets are that they carry a lot of international items and have a lot of different variety of the same item. They had like 6 variations of brioche buns! The short ribs here are delicious.
